Once you verify the platform number, check the coach composition on the Train Info page. This shows where AC first class (1A), AC 2-Tier (2A), AC 3-Tier (3A), Sleeper (SL), and General (GEN) coaches typically align relative to the engine so you can wait at the correct zone.

How to find your train's platform

  1. Go to Live Station Status.
  2. Enter the station code (e.g. NDLS for New Delhi, CSMT for Mumbai, HWH for Howrah).
  3. Select the time window (2–8 hours) and click Get Status.
  4. Your train will appear with its expected platform number, delay, and arrival time.
