Platform allocation at large junctions like New Delhi (NDLS, 16 platforms), Howrah (HWH, 23 platforms), and Mumbai CSMT changes dynamically based on line congestion, signal scheduling, and delays. Rail 24 feeds the latest official station board data to help you navigate terminals smoothly.

Finding coach position relative to platform

Once you verify the platform number, check the coach composition on the Train Info page. This shows where AC first class (1A), AC 2-Tier (2A), AC 3-Tier (3A), Sleeper (SL), and General (GEN) coaches typically align relative to the engine so you can wait at the correct zone.

How to find your train's platform
